I’m very particular about setting powders and I normally just purchase new ones to try based on reviews from people with similar skin types as me. However, when I saw that I could get a deluxe sample of the @onesize by @patrickstarrr Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder ($30 for 1.2 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+9Bmupl0YTWJyiBETq2ipVQ), I jumped at the chance to be able to try a hyped up powder that I had considered purchasing a full-size of before going all in!
What it claims:
🔘 A superfine powder with a soft matte finish and blurring effect that lasts up to 14 hours and is perfect for everyday setting and buildable baking
🔘 Available in two universally flattering shades, this smoothing, weightless powder blurs pores and texture with a soft-focus effect while absorbing excess oil and shine
🔘 Free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances
🔘 Vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free
I love that this product comes in two (2) shades so that it’s more inclusive than a lot of loose setting powders. Also, the price is tolerable for the amount of product you get. I have used this both under my eyes and on my t-zone – the two (2) places I always apply powder when doing a full face of makeup. While it looked beautiful in both areas, it did not keep my t-zone anywhere near matte as the day went along. Since I already have a lot of powders that look nice under my eyes, but don’t keep me matte, I won’t be purchasing this. However, if you have normal skin, you may really enjoy this!
