While foundation has the ability to cover up a multitude of skin sins, I find the greatest transformation comes when I apply concealer. I love the extra coverage it provides and can’t get enough of the brightness it brings to my undereyes and center of my face! So, when I hear a lot of hype for a new drugstore concealer, I make it my mission to test it out as soon as possible and that was the case with the @elfcosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer ($6 for .203 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+1mOm7nZqy-X8_sgq7uRifw)!
What it claims:
🔘 A full-coverage, hydrating, longwearing concealer featuring a large doe foot applicator to conceal, correct, contour and highlight for flawless skin
🔘 The highly pigmented formula is lightweight with a satin finish that won’t settle into fine lines or creases
🔘 Ideal for all skin types, but great for dry skin
🔘 Proud to be 100% vegan and cruelty-free, worldwide
I ordered the shade Light Sand (light with neutral undertones). It’s a little dark for me, so to get the brightening I desire, I should have gone with Fair Beige (fair with neutral undertones). Shade aside, the formula is hydrating and that’s exactly what my winter skin needs. It blended out with ease and didn’t settle drastically into any of the lines under my eyes or on my forehead. I found the coverage to be high medium. There is a chance it could have been built up to full coverage, but I don’t like when my concealer looks heavy or cakey, so I didn’t risk it. It lasted well on my skin and I experienced no decrease in coverage as the day went on. I do have other concealers I enjoy more, but for the price you can’t go wrong. If you have dry skin, I recommend trying this version. If you have oily skin, I recommend trying the original – https://rstyle.me/+VDmYeM_5jOtxR0oBdwgkXg.
