Try Out Tuesday – @WinkyLux Frothy Eyeshadow and Highlighter

September 29, 2020

I got a sample of this @winky_lux product and assumed it was a highlighter, so began using it as one. I was so incredibly impressed by the glow that it’s all I used it for. Then, when I decided I needed the full size, I began to do research and discovered it’s actually an eyeshadow from their Latte Kitten Palette ($25 – https://rstyle.me/+2PS_M2-qVk2pAm7yJlV4kw)!

What it claims:

πŸ”˜ Coffee inspired micro-milled shadows

πŸ”˜ Velvety application

πŸ”˜ High pigment formula for maximum color payoff

πŸ”˜ Nine matte & foiled finishes

πŸ”˜ Versatile looks from day to night

πŸ”˜ Delicate coffee scent

πŸ”˜ Double as highlighters

πŸ”˜ Cruelty, paraben, sulfate, phthalate and gluten-free

πŸ”˜ Vegan

My experience:

πŸ‘πŸ» Using this as a highlighter, I was blown away by the shine! It’s a stunning shade that worked perfectly for me in the summer and could work with a lighter hand in the winter.

πŸ‘πŸ» When using it as a highlighter, it lasted all day on my skin. This photo was taken nearly twelve (12) hours into wear.

πŸ‘πŸ» I have only worn it once as an eyeshadow (I don’t frequently reach for single shadows, even if they’re actually part of a palette), but it was gorgeous and gave me the most beautiful pop in the middle of my eyelid.

My verdict?

I had never tried the @winky_lux eyeshadow formula before this, but now I definitely want to pick up the full palette that this highlight shade can be found in! If the quality of the eight (8) other shades is anything like Frothy, it has the potential to be a fantastic palette!
