Mani Monday – @nailtopiabeauty Nail Lacquer in Hula Girl

August 10, 2020

I can’t resist a blue nail polish, so when I was looking through the selection of @nailtopiabeauty’s Plant Based, Bio-Sourced, Chip Free Nail Lacquer on the @ultabeauty website, I knew I needed Hula Girl ($10 for .41 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+nXFdxnuAmknqHAKBopLHkA) on my nails ASAP!

What’s on my nails:

πŸ”˜ Base coat: @orly Bonder ($10 for .6 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+dg2U5eVUiSqsF6ZZTXggLw)

πŸ”˜ Color: @nailtopiabeauty Hula Girl

πŸ’™ Described as a “sky blue.”

πŸ’™ The brand calls its polish “Plant Based, Bio-Sourced, Chip Free Nail Lacquer.”

πŸ’™ It took three (3) thin coats to get to full coverage.

πŸ’™ The dry time was excellent. It only took a few minutes to dry enough for me to put on another coat.

πŸ’™ The color is so beautiful!

πŸ”˜ Top coat: @holotaco Glossy Top Coat ($11 for .4 ounces – https://bit.ly/3kyJmWA)

My verdict?

You first heard me rave about @nailtopiabeauty in my post from June 22nd (https://bit.ly/3fG3oe9) and this time is no different! I still love the formula, brush and, especially, the color. Unfortunately, this polish didn’t last nearly as long as Pizza Queen did. However, as you can tell by the small bubbles on my ring finger, I didn’t take nearly as much time on this application as I did the first time around, so there’s a chance there was a little user error. I’ll be trying another shade soon, so I can compare the three (3) to each other.
