Try Out Tuesday – @BurtsBees Blush in Velvet Wine

May 26, 2020

I haven’t always been a big blush fan, but it’s one of the most popular beauty trends right now, so I figured I’d jump on the bandwagon and try a few new ones! Thanks to a glowing recommendation from @kathleenlights, today, it’s the @burtsbees Blush ($9.49 for .19 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bh1yI)!

My experience:

πŸ‘πŸ» I purchased two (2) shades, but today, I’m reviewing Velvet Wine (described as “a cool magenta hue ideal for fair to dark skin tones.”). Normally this shade would be way out of my comfort zone, but it was too stunning to pass up!

πŸ‘πŸ» This blush is VERY pigmented! I am used to having to build up blush to get it to the intensity I want, but with this particular shade (I can’t speak to the others because I have yet to try them), I was able to get all the pigmentation I could have ever want with one quick dip in the pan.

πŸ‘πŸ» Thankfully, even though it gave me full pigment, it blended out beautifully and wasn’t at all patchy.

πŸ‘πŸ» I am obsessed with this shade. It’s bold, but so flattering! I also think it would work really well for a multitude of other skin tones.

My verdict?

Considering the shade, pigmentation, price and that it’s 100% natural, I couldn’t recommend this blush more! As long as you use a light hand if you have a lighter skin tone, I am confident you’ll adore this product, too!
