Long before I enjoyed the taste of coffee, I was obsessed with the scent of it. So, when I saw that @frank_bod sold a product called the Original Intro Kit that contained their Original Coffee Scrub ($9.95 for 3.5 ounces or $16.95 for 7 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bgshA) and Body Balm ($25 for 3.38 ounces for the coconut version – https://shopstyle.it/l/bgvKI), I knew I needed it in my life!
What it claims:
🔘 Natural, vegan, and ready to work its magic on breakouts, scars, cellulite, and stretch marks
🔘 Its blend of coffee, cold-pressed sweet almond oil, and vitamin E keep your skin looking perky, even, and soft
🔘 Vegan, no PEGs, no Parabens, no Phalates, gluten free, fragrance free, 100% naturally derived, tested on babes not bunnies
🔘 A rich oil balm spiked with coffee seed extract to hydrate dry skin while working magic on stretch marks, scars, and marks. Works best after scrubbing on your bod or on hair, lips, and cuticles for a nourishing boost
👍🏻 The packaging is hilariously fantastic.
👍🏻👎🏻 The scent is OK. It’s not the strong, clean coffee scent I was hoping for, but it’s coffee adjacent and that’s good enough, I suppose.
👍🏻 I love that this isn’t an oily scrub. I have, in the past, nearly slipped when using other scrubs that are, so it was a relief that I wouldn’t have to worry about that with this one.
👍🏻 It applies and spreads with ease and isn’t too harsh on the skin.
👍🏻 A little goes a very long way.
👍🏻👎🏻 I like the Body Balm because it is really moisturizing and massages into the skin nicely, but there is no way that you’ll run out of both products at the same time.
While I enjoyed both products, I would say the scrub is the winner here. It’s so simple, yet so effective. I’m still not using scrubs with any consistency because I don’t want to clog our drains, but I am glad I have this in my collection now for special occasions!
