As of late, I have noticed that, with a more intense skincare regimen, I find myself liking or even loving products I used to dislike or even hate and that was exactly the case with the @drjart Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 ($39 for 1.5 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bgnCr)!
What it claims:
🔘 A cult-favorite all-in-one beauty balm perfects the complexion with a powerful anti-aging complex while shielding skin from UV damage
🔘 With natural coverage and a dewy finish, this formula is a moisturizer, sunscreen and treatment serum in one to hydrate, prime, protect and camouflage the skin
🔘 Delivers high levels of ingredients to skin active in improving the visible signs of aging; moisturizes and soothes dehydrated skin; primes and perfects skin surface; camouflages and improves the appearance of uneven skin tone; and protects skin from damaging UV rays with SPF 45
🔘 Free of sulfates SLS and SLES
👍🏻 I got a sample of the shade Light-Medium and it worked perfectly. It’s neutral and that’s exactly what I look for. When I originally tried this, it was a bit too cool-toned and came off gray. I am glad that either they changed it or it just now seems to work better for me.
👍🏻 I used a damp beauty sponge to apply and got high light/low medium coverage, but that coverage was more than adequate because it canceled out all of my redness and that’s all I’m really ever looking for.
👍🏻 It blended out with such ease and it made my skin look plump and smooth.
👍🏻 I fully expected this to get oily throughout the day because of how moisturizing it is. However, I didn’t blot once and it was nearly 70 degrees and I went on a 40 minute jog outside! I looked a little dewy about fourteen (14) hours in, but it hadn’t broken up at all.
Thank goodness the @sephora sale is going on right now because this is going in my cart ASAP! It’s long-wearing, looks like skin and is actually quite affordable when you consider you’re getting more than your average foundation quantity. It you have been looking for an excellent light coverage foundation, this is it!
