When I receive a robust foundation sample, I jump for joy! I jump even higher when it’s from a brand I’ve never tried before! Today, I am testing out the @stellarbeautyofficial Limitless Foundation ($38 for 1.01 ounces at @sephora – https://shopstyle.it/l/7JmN).
What it claims:
🔘 Available in 35 shades
🔘 Imperceptible, longwearing and comfortable, it gives you the skin you wish you woke up with
🔘 Shade matches based on skin undertones provide a bright and uniform look to the complexion with true medium coverage
🔘 Build it up to full coverage only where needed with the unique STELLAR technique
🔘 Radiant finish
🔘 For normal, dry, combination and oily skin types
👍🏻 I used the sample of shade S03 (described as “light with neutral and peach undertone”) and the shade worked well for me.
👎🏻 It says that it can be applied with a slightly damp sponge, so that is how I did it. I dabbed product on half of my face and then started to blend. Unfortunately, it almost all but seemed to disappear. I assumed it was basically a tinted moisturizer.
👍🏻 I used slightly more foundation on the other side of my face, waited a few seconds and then blended out. This time, I got low medium coverage.
👍🏻👎🏻 I was able to build it up slightly on my problem areas, but never achieved full coverage and that’s probably mostly because I didn’t have enough product left.
👍🏻All of the products I put on top worked extremely well with it.
👍🏻 As I write this, I have been wearing it for eight (8) hours and never once has it settled into any of my forehead lines and I can’t say that about many foundations.
👍🏻👎🏻 I have gotten oily on my nose, but expected that with a radiant finish foundation.
👍🏻👎🏻 I have the slightest amount of caking around my nose.
👍🏻 It truly looks as fresh as it did this morning.
When I blended out the first dab of product, I was sure I would hate this foundation. Even once I was done applying the rest of my makeup, I didn’t think I would give this a glowing review. However, after seeing, up close, how flawless my skin looks, I have changed my tune!
