For years, I have been on the hunt for a tinted moisturizer that I could apply quickly and easily to even out my skin tone and either wear alone or in conjunction with all of my other makeup. The reviews for the @supergoop CC Cream Daily Correct Broad Spectrum SPF 35+ Sunscreen ($34 for 1.6 ounces at @sephora) were so good, I couldn’t help but pick it up during the last VIB sale and was so incredibly happy that its performance lived up to the hype!
What it claims:
🔘 A 100 percent mineral, color-correcting cream that softens the look of fine lines, wrinkles and pores
🔘 Provides lightweight coverage, while protecting against UVA and UVB rays
🔘 Contains a blend of apple extract, Irish moss, red seaweed extract and sodium hyaluronate that works to make the skin appear smoother, softer and healthier
🔘 I originally purchased Light/Medium, but it was too dark for my newly out of winter skin tone. I didn’t return it because I knew I would get use out of it in the summer months, but I did purchase Light to work for now.
👍🏻 This is the only foundation I brought to Europe for ten (10) days because I didn’t want to risk a glass bottle breaking in my suitcase. It is very travel-friendly and I was extremely happy to have it with me.
👍🏻 It is quite moisturizing, which I thought would result in being a greasy mess. While yes, it is dewy from the beginning of the day to the end, I don’t feel the need to blot more than normal. Photo 3 is almost twelve (12) hours into wear with nothing else but the CC Cream. No primer, setting powder, etc.
👍🏻 Photo 4 is with it applied to half of my face – again with no other makeup.
👍🏻 Photo 5 is with all of my other makeup on top.
👍🏻👎🏻 I have worn it many times so far and only a couple of times has it has worn off slightly from my chin after several hours.
Whether you want a higher coverage tinted moisturizer or a hydrating medium coverage foundation, this is the product for you! Even as someone who has oily/combination skin, I am so pleased with the skin perfecting aspect of this, I don’t ever see not having this in my collection.
What’s your go-to summer foundation?
