Travel Tuesday – @tuelskincare Travel Pack

April 16, 2019

When @nikirobisonbrows gifted me this @tuelskincare Travel Pack ($56 on their website), I couldn’t wait to test everything out during my trip to Cincinnati!
What it claims:
πŸ”˜ Controls and balances excess oil
πŸ”˜ Refines the appearance of enlarged pores and uneven texture
πŸ”˜ Strengthens and fortifies combo skin
What it contains:
It appears the packaging has been updated since this one was purchased, but the contents are nearly identical. Below is what is included in the set I received:
πŸ”˜ Balancing Act Milk Cleanser
πŸ”˜ Hydrate Moisture Gel
πŸ”˜ Balancing Act Cleansing Oil
πŸ”˜ Balancing Act Herbal Toner
πŸ”˜ Special Delivery Night Cream
πŸ”˜ Power Scrub Exfoliating Wash
My experience:
πŸ‘πŸ» I enjoy the sleek packaging – it fits very well in my travel kit.
πŸ‘πŸ» The provided step-by-step guide is easy to understand.
πŸ‘ŽπŸ» The fact that you get four (4) travel-sized products and two (2) sample sized products for $56 is hard for me to wrap my head around.
πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ» While the products were nice, the only one I found to be something I’d consider purchasing the full size of is the Power Scrub ($34 for 1.7 ounces on their website).
πŸ‘ŽπŸ» The Cleansing Oil didn’t remove all of my makeup.
πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ» They state one of the benefits of this set is that the bottles are refillable, but I don’t consider that unique or a reason to spend that much on travel-sized products.
My experience:
While I will use these containers up and may even refill them with my current skincare favorites, I can’t recommend this set. It’s far too expensive for the amount of product you get. If you are looking for refillable, travel-friendly containers, I would suggest a trip to @thecontainerstore.
