Over the course of the last few months, I have been testing out the @mariobadescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile and Lavender (I received a deluxe sample of this with an @ultabeauty order, so I don’t know the price for the 1 ounce, but the 4 ounce size is $7 and the 8 ounce size is $12) to see if its performance lives up to the hype it receives!
What it claims:
🔘 For times your skin is craving calm and comfort this is the mist to reach for
🔘 Chamomile, vitamin C and Lavender essential water combine in a soothing blend that leaves your complexion balanced and bright
🔘 Mist onto face, neck, or hair as needed
🔘 Use it to infuse more hydration before or after applying moisturizer, as a pick-me-up on the go, or post-makeup application to give skin a dewy finish
🔘 I have used this as both part of my skincare routine and as a makeup setting spray.
👍🏻 I really enjoy the scent. It’s strong, but relaxing and doesn’t last on your skin.
👎🏻 I don’t notice any added hydration when using it as a part of my skincare routine.
👍🏻 I have used it a couple of times as a makeup setting spray and pick-me-up and that is where I think this product shines for me. Today specifically, my skin was feeling a little tight (seven (7) hours into wearing this makeup) and this gave it a nice boost of hydration. It also made my highlighter pop even more than it already was before spraying it.
👍🏻 I have yet to use it for this purpose, but I would imagine, when placed in the refrigerator, it would do wonders for how your skin feels on a hot summer day.
I like this product. The price is good, it smells nice and it refreshes my makeup well. I won’t be using it in my skincare routine anymore, but will be keeping it in my office for touch ups throughout the day. Until I find something better for less, I think I’ll keep repurchasing!
