Mask Monday – @mamondeus Narcissus Flower Lab Essence Sheet Mask

At the end of a busy weekend, nothing feels better than a little self care! Today, I decided that my skin required some additional attention because I got too much sun yesterday, so I used the @mamonde_us Narcissus Flower Lab Essence Sheet Mask ($3 for 1 mask at @ultabeauty – https://shopstyle.it/l/6a61).

What it claims:

πŸ”˜ A narcissus-infused sheet mask that instantly infuses skin with moisture that lasts

πŸ”˜ Made of eucalyptus pulp, the translucent mask hugs facial contours to maximize absorption of the concentrated, delicately narcissus-scented serum

πŸ”˜ Suitable for all skin types

My experience:

πŸ‘πŸ» The packaging is beautiful and it’s part of the reason I chose to purchase this sheet mask over the many others that @ultabeauty offers.

πŸ‘πŸ» The scent is pleasant.

πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ» It did a fairly good job of fitting and staying on my face. Not the best I’ve ever tried, but far from the worst.

πŸ‘πŸ» It stayed hydrated throughout the twenty (20) minutes I wore it for.

πŸ‘ŽπŸ» The serum that the mask is soaked in is very thin. Because of that, when I was patting the excess in after removal, it almost felt like I was just distributing water all over my face.

πŸ‘ŽπŸ» It took a few minutes to absorb into my skin. Unfortunately, once it did, I didn’t notice the high level of hydration I was hoping for.

My verdict?

While there were a couple of aspects of this mask I enjoyed, the overall mediocre performance will keep me from repurchasing. If you are looking for an excellent sheet mask, my suggestion would be the @pixibeauty GLOW Glycolic Boost Brightening Infusion Sheet Mask ($10 for 3 masks at @target – https://shopstyle.it/l/6a8w).
