Wear Test Wednesday – @sormecosmetics

Although I have discovered a couple of really good ones, I still hope that, some day, I am able to find a waterline eyeliner that is rich in pigment and stays on all day long with no fading or smudging. In order to find it, I need to keep testing! Today, it was the @sormecosmetics Metallics Eyeliner in the shade Galaxy ($14 for .05 ounces on their website).

What it claims:

πŸ”˜ Infused with a pearlescent glitter finish offer endless creative possibilities

πŸ”˜ Add graphic effects, highlight features, enhance and define eyes, lips and more with these highly pigmented gel based artist pencils

My experience:

πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ» The price isn’t too hard to digest.

πŸ‘πŸ» The shade is gorgeous. It is metallic, but still very black and rich in pigment.

πŸ‘πŸ» It glided on easily to my waterline. I also used it previously on my upper lash line and applied with ease there, too.

πŸ‘πŸ» It lasted eight (8) hours on my upper lash line.

πŸ‘ŽπŸ» Unfortunately, it faded substantially from my waterline within a couple of hours.

πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ» Thankfully, however, it never smudged into the corners of my eyes – which is a major pet peeve of mine. I can deal with fading to a certain extent, but have a zero tolerance policy for bleeding.

My verdict?

Although I really enjoyed a couple of features this product offers, it doesn’t compare to the wear time of my other favorite liner, so I won’t be repurchasing.

What is your favorite waterline eyeliner?
