Skincare Saturday – @yeouth Retinol 2.5% Serum

I was recently asked by someone if I had ever tried a Retinol. At that time I hadn’t, but only just a few days later, I was sent an amazing box of skincare goodies from @yeouthskincare and included inside was exactly that – their Retinol 2.5% Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera ($19.95 for 1 ounce at @yeouthskincare – http://bit.ly/2JpJvKm). Also included was their Balancing Facial Toner ($15.95 for 3.4 ounces at @yeouthskincare – http://bit.ly/2XusCbs) which works well on its own, but even better in partnership with the Retinol Serum.

What the Retinol claims:

🔘 Allows increased communication between skin cells to promote healthy, youthful cell behavior

🔘 A potent antioxidant that fights free radical damage from UV Rays which cause fine lines and wrinkles

🔘 Fade age and sun spots more quickly by increasing collagen production and encouraging cell turnover

🔘 Help prevent and fight acne with Retinol’s proven acne fighting record

🔘 Reduce pore size by cleansing skin of impurities

My experience:

I have been using these products together (which is not a requirement – they can be used separately with similar results) for over a month and I have been so impressed with how smooth my skin has become! I have also had zero issues with acne (although that wasn’t something I normally dealt with in excess anyway) and have noticed a reduction in the wrinkles in between my eyebrows (which is a major trouble spot for me when it comes to foundation settling).

My verdict?

Looks like I’ve added another product to my ever-growing skincare routine! I know that, as I age, my regimen will need to evolve and it appears as though adding Retinol is just the next step for me in that process. Once I’ve used it up, I’ll include it in an empties post to update on its efficacy, but as of now, I am super happy with its performance!

Added bonus to these already incredibly affordable skincare products, you can use code USA25 to save 25% through July 7th! Other products in their line that I recommend:
