Travel Tuesday – @hudabeauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette in Topaz

The more and more beauty-obsessed I become and the more and more products I add to my routine, the harder it gets to fit everything in the one toiletry bag I have allowed myself when traveling. For the longest time, I didn’t even pack eyeshadow because the palettes I owned were much too large. That was until I discovered the @hudabeauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes (they come in a variety of shades, but I own Topaz and it’s $27 for .45 ounces at @sephora)!

What it claims:
๐Ÿ”˜ Each Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is packed with a selection of nine highly pigmented mattes and striking shimmers, all with a smooth and blendable texture
๐Ÿ”˜ The large mirror, conveniently-sized palette, and versatile shade collection allow you to create both classic and playful looks that are easy to apply on-the-go

My experience:
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป When I am traveling for work and attending classes, meetings, etc., I go right for the mattes in this palette. They work with almost any outfit, pack a punch without being too bold and last all day.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The shimmers are also stunning – I just don’t wear them as often. Because of my eyelids, almost all shimmers, glitters, etc. transfer onto the upper part of my lid, but as long as they don’t crease (which I haven’t had these do), I can put up with that.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป There is very minimal fall out when using the shimmer shades with a dampened brush. I use @maccosmetics Prep + Prime Fix +, but you can use any setting spray.

My verdict?
If you wear eyeshadow, I can guarantee that one of the Obsessions Palettes will suit your fancy! I have heard that some perform better than others, but that all in the Precious Stones category are great. I have considered purchasing Amethyst next during the @sephora Beauty Insider Spring Bonus because I truly believe my life needs a little more purple in it!

If you have tried any, what is your favorite @hudabeauty product?
